Meet Our Staff!
John A. Barbaro, Ed.D
holds a doctoral degree from the Counseling Department at the University of
Massachusetts. His dissertation examined the effectiveness of different lengths
and types of therapy, concentrating on one group therapy designed to "overcome self-defeating behaviors." In 1984, he completed the final
clinical phase of formal training in Bioenergetic Analysis and is President of
the Board of Directors of the Connecticut
Society for Bioenergetic Analysis. Dr. Barbaro is licensed by the Board of
Registration of Psychologists to practice psychology.
Susan Trottier Barbaro, M.S., L.M.H.C.
completed her Masters in Clinical Skills from American International College.
For many years she worked as a social worker with individuals and families with
children, adolescents, and the elderly. She is licensed by the Board of
Registration of Mental Health Counselors.
